While the works listed here are not always my original compositions, they hold a special place in my heart. All pieces here were written in dedication to the South Florida Clarinet Choir “Les Art Nouveau Chalumeaux” and their artistic director, Rick Zogaib. In 2017, Rick approached me at a Selmer Paris sales booth at the Florida Music Educators Association convention in Tampa, FL. I participated in the All-State Symphonic Band that year and was testing some of the instruments at the booth. He thought I was an outstanding player and invited me to perform with a large clarinet ensemble that he had started in 2015 that put on yearly summer concerts.

Before I fully considered myself a composer, I wrote many arrangements for this group, adding many new and engaging pieces to the repertoire of a relatively neglected art form. As the ensemble grew, so did the range of pieces we could form, and I became deeply involved with the group, even becoming their associate director.

Hence, a large part of my early career development, both artistic and leadership, can be directly tied to this organization and my friend Rick Zogaib.
